Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee

Sunday, September 3rd, 2006

Who doesn’t like a great cup of coffee? If you want to spend something extra, why not visit a specialty store and buy some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. This particular type of coffee is like the Ferrari under the coffees: inspiring, luxurious and top of the bill! I received a package of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee as a Christmas gift last year.

There is no better coffee on the planet and I have become a little spoiled since receiving the thoughtful present. The Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee was reserved for special occasions but I really did not comprehend how special the beans really are until I tried to order more.

Of course, I knew that Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee would be a little pricey. The java beans are grown at the eastern end of the island of Jamaica. The beans get their name from the mountain range in this part of the country. The thickly wooded area boasts the best coffee available. It also boasts the rarest as well.

White Zinfandel

Friday, August 4th, 2006

What is your favorite white wine? Many people prefer white zinfandel because of its fruity nature and generous appeal. The wine is referred to as “white” and many people think that this is a mistake because of its pink hue. However, this is really the correct description of the product. It is definitely not a blush because the process of making the final product is different in a white zinfandel than in a blush wine.

The zinfandel grape is actually red and it commonly produces a red wine as its final product. The makers of white zinfandel change the wine-making strategy a little bit in the process of creating the pink-colored favorite among mainstream wine drinkers. The skins of the grape hold the color. When the skins are left in during the fermentation process, the end result is a red-colored beverage.

Coffee Company

Saturday, July 29th, 2006

Who doesn’t enjoy a hot cup of coffee? Some prefer even a nice iced latte with a dollop of whip cream on top. But anyway, whatever you prefer, you’ll have no trouble finding it in the gargantuan java industry of today. The demand for espresso really did shoot through the roof, and the “coffee company” has definitely made it’s mark in this universe. Like most of us, I bet you’re not complaining one bit. Maybe unless it’s regarding the price … One thing however is for certain, the widespread coffee buzz isn’t going to vanish soon. Smell those fresh beans already?

What is your favorite coffee company? Do you have a special drive-thru on your way to work, or do you prefer a standard Starbucks coffee house? I’m sure either one has a vast selection of caffeinated beverages to offer. I can remember when the only coffee company around was Folders. Okay, so maybe there was Maxwell House also. Regardless, it’s astonishing what the 90s brought to the table. Now there is a new coffee company everywhere I turn. From Starbucks, to Seattle’s Best, to Gloria Jean’s, there’s just no escaping the java craze. Folks around the world are forking out 4 bucks for a mere latte.

Coffee Mugs

Saturday, July 29th, 2006

My sister is quite a creative person. When her children were born she gave everyone a special gift. Everyone got a set of coffee mugs with a picture of the newborn baby, the first name and date of birth. I still use these mugs and they are still in my kitchen cupboard. My mom chooses to not use hers: she puts hers on display so that everyone can see them (in fact everyone is “gently forced” to admire them…).

Coffee mugs can be personalized for almost any occasion. They make great gifts for a wedding party because they are something the wedding party can actually use. They could be personalized for a birthday, bar mitzvah, graduation, or as a memorial for a loved one who has passed away.

They can be personalized to match almost any occasion. The picture and text can represent the occasion and the type of mug used can be simple or you can use a more unique.
